Storage and security: The Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) sets the minimum retention period for health information at 7 years after the last service for adults, or until age 25 for children. Confidentiality: Everything you share with us, and all records relating to your care, will be kept confidential. The only exceptions are where disclosure is required by law (including by subpoena or court order), where there are mandatory reporting obligations, or where we believe there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or to another person. Where appropriate and practicable, we will discuss any necessary disclosure with you first.
