Dream Lab was founded by Ilana Laps in 2010 to educate communities on the health benefits of dream work.
Dreams are like having an 'inner therapist', reflecting a deeper awareness back to you every night. Your dreams connect today's emotions with past experiences that made you feel a similar way - precisely the therapeutic technique used by counsellors and psychologists. Dreams have been shown to help with depression, and are capable of lifting moods much like emotional processing does.
Historically, all great traditions have recognised dreams as a profound tool of insight, however in modern times, we have forgotten how to understand their language. Dream Lab is bringing this knowledge back.
Dream Lab offers workshops, dream circles and sharing spaces for exploring the forgotten language of dreams. We combine Jungian dream theory with dream science and research from around the world, and collaborate with musicians and artists to bring dreaming to life.
