The Therapeutic Relationship
Decades of research have shown that there are two key ingredients that determine the success of therapy: the first is your commitment to the process, and the second is the strength of our therapeutic relationship. This means we both have an important role to play. I will give 100% in our time together, and will support you to give what you can. As trust builds naturally over time, you will find that you want to open more and go further, thereby creating more opportunities for deep work.
It is important to know that in my Humanistic approach, you set the pace for your therapy. In addition to the feedback you will give me, I know how to listen to and trust your body, which is always communicating accurately. It will tell us when it is time to listen and talk, when we can go deep into emotional processing, and when we need to step back and make meaning of the experiences you've had.
In addition to our time together, I continue to invest in our therapeutic relationship between sessions. I prioritise my professional development and personal growth, and travel internationally to learn from teachers who inspire me. I believe this makes me a better person and a better therapist, and provides me with a constant richness in life that I am honoured to pass on to others.

Teaching & Public Speaking
In 2010 I founded Dream Lab, an educational organization dedicated to the study of dreams. I teach Dream Lab's annual educational program, and speak at public events about the therapeutic application of dreams.

Lived ExperiencePerhaps the most valuable thing I bring to my private and group work is my life experience, and the intensity, passion and empathy it has instilled in me. I never cease from exploring the human psyche, and my clients benefit from my thirst for knowledge.
